Padilla Series '68, toro, 6x50. Earthy and very toasty, much milder than I would have thought given the aroma. All in all a decent milder cigar.
Paired with a blind tasting of 4 Pinot Noirs. In order of the blind rankings: 2007 Chasseur Blank Russian River Valley, 2008 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast, 2007 Alta Maria Santa Maria Valley, 2007 Villa Mt. Eden Grand Reserve Russian River Valley. While all the Pinots were pretty good, it was amazing to see how the higher end wines outclassed the lower end ones. Congrats to my sis-in-law for correctly identifying the range of each of the wines from the blind tasting.
91 degrees in Sacramento.
